The Bellota Project

The Bellota Project is the flagship project of the Calaveras River Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and crucial to securing the District’s New Hogan Reservoir surface water supplies.”

Bellota Weir Groundbreaking Ceremony

Event video made to help Stockton East Water District customers see the progress and groundbreaking of the Bellota Weir Project.

Stockton East Water District has officially broken ground on the Bellota Weir Fish Passage and Screening Improvement Project—a major milestone years in the making. This transformative effort will enhance fish passage, safeguard the water supply, and support environmental resilience in our region. We’re proud to partner with state, federal, and local agencies to make this vision a reality. Thank you to all who joined us for this important step toward a more sustainable future.”

The Motion Bureau has operated since 2011 and is experienced working in active infrastructure environments with safety, compliance, and communication standards in mind.

The Farmington Reservoir Project

Educational video made to help Stockton East Water District customers understand what the Farmington Resevoir Project is and why it is so important to the area.

The Eastern San Joaquin region faces groundwater depletion and saltwater intrusion. To address this, the Farmington Reservoir project proposes raising the dam level to increase water storage, improve flood control, and recharge the aquifer. The plan includes structural upgrades and is under review for federal support.”
